We have a potential world record blue marlin - 80 pound class line. This angler of the month, (should be year), was a nice suprise for us when it arrived in our email box. Not often do we get to post a world record on the site. Because the Captain and angler are French and live so far away we have not been able to talk to them to get a detailed report on the catch. This fish was caught on 80 pound class line while standing up.

I'm a french angler (that's why my english is so bad) - Please find here some pics of a behemoth pacific blue, caught in Rodrigues...by Stepphan Kreupl with Germany IGFA representative on board... for a potential world record / 80lbs line class and with Captain Yann Colas who is a very good friend of mine on the flybridge.
As soon as we have more information on possible world record status we will post it right away.
