hi i do all salt water fishing but im taking a trip to alabama here soon and my grandpa owns alot of land and has a pond full of catfish,and small and largemouth bass so any body got tips on catching bass. last year my grandpa pulled out the record bass for that pond(out of the family) it was 8 lbs so now i got to beat it this year

well i just got back from the trip i we were there for 5 days but were only fishing one and i caught 6 large mouth bass my biggest one was 5 pounds so i did not break the record but hopfully ill get it next year

good deal, a 5 pound bass isnt anything to laugh at. That is a nice fish. U have any pics?
