Pompanette Marlin/Bluefin Fighting Chair
Fiberglass seat and solid backrest
Heavy Chromed Brass and Stainless Steel Construction
Ball Bearing Swivel
Reclines
2 Rocket Launchers, with good rubber lips to help protect your expensive IGFA rod butts from scratches.
3 1/2 inch OD through deck pedestal with bearings included
No optional foot rest (Pompanette may have this)
Chair is in excellent over-all condition, has some minor chrome loss on some of the brass.
No cushion, but it should be easy (and inexpensive) to make one, or use as-is.
The chair is located in Twin Falls, Idaho.
This chair came off of TIGER CAT II, a 1969 Chriscraft Commander. If you are into historical value, this chair has it! This chair was used by (then President) Richard M. Nixon.
While President Nixon is most remembered for Watergate, he was also an avid saltwater fisherman.
President Nixon was friends of the owner of TIGER CAT II (a retired WW II Air Force Ace, Tiger Cat I was his Mustang fighter). While in office, .President Nixon used TIGER CAT II when he was in Florida, for his offshore fishing trips, and to get to one of the private islands in the Florida Keys.

I'll post a picture of this chair as soon as I can.
If we can find it, a photo of TIGER CAT II, with President Nixon and this chair aboard, will be included at no additional cost.
