We are located on beautiful Oak Island, NC, 5 miles from Historic Southport, 30 miles from Myrtle Beach, SC. Oak Island is a family oriented vacation spot with lots to do and see. Capt. Richard Flick has been fishing the area since the late 80’s and devotes his all his life doing what he loves. Charter fishing. When he is not charter fishing he is commercial fishing. He makes his living off of the sea. We charter fish year round for Blue Fin tuna showing up late November thru mid February. King Mackeral and bottom fishing for Black Bass, Red Snapper, Grouper, Biting pretty much all year, with some months being better than others. I grew up fishing the Tampa Bay area, from working on the charter boats at Maderia Beach, Florida to owning my jon boat for fishing the flats of FORT Desoto, Florida. In 2005 I decided to get my Captains license. I run a 19ft twin vee Bay Cat powered by a 90hp Mercury engine. I can go in the skinny waters looking for redfish or the flats looking for trout or go in gulf of mexico looking for kingfish, plus many other species of fish. I supply rods, reels, artificial bait, and live bait. We also provide fishing licenses, fun, adventure, and we clean and bag your fish. WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING: A hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, food and drink in a cooler. I also know a couple of resturants on the water we could go to. Please wear sneekers or boat shoes you dont mind getting wet(no black sole shoes please). 800am is normaly the time we go and we meet at FORT DESOTO PARK UNLESS OTHER PLANS ARE MADE IN ADVANCE.
