Fishing Report:   well the weather has tured bad for the last few days and had to cancel a few charters. i was about bored so i ventured out in the rain today.i hit a few spots with no fish.just as i was about to head in, i saw a school of shrimp scatter in the back of a creek. i threw a doa in the middle of the school and whamm!! 6 ib trout. i made several cast to the same spot and caught 4 more huge trout and 3 18-29 in reds.not to bad for a day like today!! http://www.coronadazecharters.com

Fishing Report:   it`s on like a pot of neckbones!!!if yourcatchin them now,your in the wrong spots!! the trout in the local areas are in #`s and in size.we have had numerous days with 25 plus fish from 3 lbs and up to 8 lbs. the water temp is perfect at 64, the water is clear and lots of small glass minnows. still catchin them on gulp shrimp, tt- 21`s and chicken swimbaits. the backs of the creeks on the high tide and the mouths on the fall...catchem up!!

Fishing Report:   the fall fishing has really kicked in this week. the pin fish and other baits are starting to get out of here, which will turn the fish on to plugs,swimbaits ect.with the water hitting the mid 60`s the bite will only get better.topsail island seems to have the bigger fish,as to were to the #`s are coming from wrightsville beach.

Fishing Report:   the weather is still looking trouty!!now that the cold has settled in for a week and a warming trend is coming for the weekend, anglers had better be ready for the best trout bite yet this year.i`ve been catching the big ones but not in hugh numbers. bthis week will be the tell,tell, sign off what kind of season it will be. clear water around 67? i know were i`ll be!! captain mike hoffman http://www.coronadazecharters.com

Fishing Report:   The fall bite is on following this last cold front . My recent trips had limits of specks to the boat, big fat reds and flounder. Soft plastics have produced the best right after the recent drop in temps but look for top water and suspending baits to be hot after our warming trend. Fly rodders are also doing well. Look for plenty of great action to continue well into December with plenty of stripers to add to the mix over the next several weeks.

Fishing Report:   today was a wet one but the fish didn`t seem to mind.the flounder and trout were hitting gulp alive in the new penny color.they seem to like the rising tides in the marshes in about 5 feet of water.the water was a bit stained but will clear in a few days with the front moving off the coast. http://www.coronadazecharters.com

Fishing Report:   Went out on Friday, October 9, 2009 for a blue water trip (80 miles out) for tuna, wahoo, and dolphin. We started to troll at about 25 miles out and caught kingfish. After my disgust, we went out an additional 25 miles and caught an additional kingfish. Now, I have fished the eastern seaboard and know that at this time of the year, 80 miles out probalby would have produced some nice fish. Considering the trip cost $1,500, I think we got taken. Just to keep you fellow anlgers abreast of the situation.

Fishing Report:   30 to 60 pound red drum have arrived in mass to the Neuse River and the fish is just right. Look for plenty of action well into Sept. Cut bait on an Lupton drum rig is the ticket to success. Fish the breaks on the shoals for plenty of action.

Fishing Report:   Light tackle angling continues to be go with nice catches of specks, reds, and flounder....some exellent flounder fishing infact! Live bait, soft plastics and top water have all produced.

Tarpon are here in numbers and a the first of the giant red drum have already arrived. Be sure to contact me soon, I have a few open dates but not many to get in on this world class fishery.

Fishing Report:   Sea Note is looking for one or two anglers for this year's White Marlin Open in Ocean City MD on August 3 thru 7.
