Fishing Report:   Sabine Lake fishing is great this month. Fishing the north end of Sabine lake with the northerns coming in. The north winds are keeping the tides low and the birds are working everywhere up north with shrimp/mullet coming out of the marshes heading to the gulf. Speckled trout 2 to 3 lbs are moving on the flats, also redfish to 10 lbs. My best bait is Browns Devils Eye/Sea devil Glow/Chart Tipped with shrimp fish bites. The birds are working over shrimp in mid-lake and we are catching good numbers of trout and redfish, mixed. The flounder fish is in full swing. We are catching up to 4 lbs flounder on points and cuts on falling tides, best bait is LSU Bayou Chub Minnow Tipped with shrimp fish bites and Fishbites Xtreme scent Release 3" Paddle Tail Root Beer/Gold. Also, fishing the South end of Sabine Lake over the reef, that has been great on outgoing tides. I am running afternoon trips - best bite off Blue Buck Point - limits of trout and redfish. Sabine Pass Channel is holding good numbers of flounder. Also Fishing on the Louisiana shore line 2 to 5ft water. Book your Flounder Fishing Trip today! Fishing Report:   Hello Everybody,

SAM RAYBURN: Well fishing was great this week with alot of Bass mostly small to 4 lbs. Cooler mornings and beautiful afternoons. The Lake is at full stage now at 164.08. Water was in great shape all over the Lake just a little off color in the creeks and rivers.

Water temps were in the mid 50's at daylight and warming to the upper 60's durring the day. We really just threw Nichols rattle shads all day catching Bass from 2-8 feet near grass beds. Junebug wackys also caught in the same areas. The Lake Fork red rattle shad is still catching great.

The owner of Jacksonhill Marina, Terry Sympson, Has the Nichols line of baits now. Give him a call at 1-936-872-9266. If you want to book in a trip my info will be logged at end of my reports. Remember December through March is Big Bass time. The pre-spawn females will be in and fattening up in the shallows in these months way before the spawn. Fishing Report:   Sabine Lake fishing is great! We’ve been fishing on the north end east pass barrel channel. Birds working on incoming tide. Best trout to 4 lbs caught on Browns Sea Devil Glow with 1/4 Tru- Lock jigs. South end Sabine Lake has been great fishing with the light fronts coming in.

The redfish/speckled trout schooling feeding on shrimp/ribbon. Limits of redfish and nice speckled trout 2 to 4 lbs. Flounder fishing picking up. Flounder to 3 lbs at the Louisiana shoreline cuts, drains, and off points. Flounder trips ran in Louisiana waters only: Sabine Lake, Calcasieu Lake, and Cameron Ship Channel

Fishing Report:   Sabine Lake fishing has been great up north for speckled trout off the icw on mud/shell flats. Browns plumtreuse sea devil 2 to 4ft water trout to 6 lbs. Redfishing great bessie height marsh with limits to 10lbs best bait stanley swin jigs w/fishbites Xtream 3 " paddle tailers keying on mullet sight fishing these fish.

Birds working over shrimp midlake lots of trout redfish schooling Redfish and Flounder showing on the louisiana shoreline on points and bayous fishing great at the Sabine Jetties holding good numberss Speckled trout and redfish when the wind lays also the beach front fishing best on the louisiana beach keying on mullet and shrimp speckled aTrout to 5 lbs also.

Fishing Report:   the texas coast is a wash from high island to 30 miles down padre. bolivar, nothing, galveston, nada, san luis and quintana to sargent, nada, matagorda, o'conner, lavaca, aransas, padre down 30 miles, small sharks, if anything. bad s/w @ 15-20 knots. we need a low pressure storm

Fishing Report:   We are catching some nice trout in the lake underneath the birds. The best bit has been on an outgoing tide. There are also plenty of redfish mixed in with the trout. The best bait has been a bass assassin 4" split tail in opening night with 1/4 oz jig head. The jetties have been hit and miss. The triple tail have showed up and there are plenty to be had. Fishing Report:   The fishing has been great when you can find the birds working. The trout underneath them are all soild fish. I have been taking most of my fish on Brown Lures in the SeaDevil Glow/Chart with a 3/8 jig head. There are some nice reds that are in with these trout. When the bird arent working I have been drifting off the Louisanna shoreline catching nice trout between 5-7ft of water. Glow SeaDevils and Glow DevilsEye have taken the majority of these fish along with some on Black/Chart with a 1/4 jig head. I tried the jetties but all that was caught was Spanish Macks. The water temp was 70 degrees at the jetties. Fishing should start picking up at the jetties in the next couple of weeks. Fishing Report:   Sabine lake fishing is great the white shrimp have moved in to the mid lake and the bird action is best on incoming tides limits of redfish and speckled trout to 6 lbs we are also drifting over shell flats in 3 to 7 ft water my best baits stanley wedge tail redshade rection chub minnow LSU brown cajun pepper rigged with the new tru lock 1/4 jig head made by brown lure and also tiped with fish bites shrimp. The flounder fishing is picking up we are boxing some nice fish on the louisiana shoreline and in bessie height marsh good fishing Capt Randy 409 7196067

Fishing Report:   The red fishing has been great.Brown Lures Seadevil bait in Rootbeer color has been taking lots of these fish. Fishing the edges of the drian coming out of the marshes have been producing limits. Mixed in with these reds have been some flounder. The best time has been when the tide has been going out. The water has been in good shape when the wind lays down. There have been some Trout caught in the lake when the water clears and the bait comes up. The best bait has been Brown Lures Devils Eye in Glow/Chart. The bite has been on the North End of the Sabine Lake in 5-7ft of water.

Fishing Report:   Sabine Lake Fishing Is great i am Fishing up north of the lake with the cold fronts coming in the fishare holding in the marshes in bessie height catching limits of speckled trout and redfish the shrimp are still in the marsh trout and redfish are chasing them my best bite is on outgoing tide the sabine pass channel is holding good numbers of Flounder to 6 lbs i am fishing 2 to 4 ft water on the flats my best baits are brown lure devils eye pearl rigged with the new brown Truloc jigheads 1/16 1/8 /1/4 and stanley glow/chart wedge tail shrimp all baits are also tipped with Fishbites Shrimp. Fishing Report:   Sabine Lakeing Is Great We are up and running trip after Ike speckled trout fishing is at it best limits of speckled trout to 4 lbs under the birds and redfish to 10 lbs chasing shrimp from the north end of sabine lake to the south end my best baits stanley glow/chart wedge tail shrimp and the brown lure company charteuse/both rigged with 3/8 jigs fishing for flounder is great the flounder run is on we are boxing flounder 2 to 4 lbs fishing the louisiana shore line and the sabine pass ship channel.
