Fishing Report: MASSACHUSSETTS: Our only news today comes from Kay Moulton at Surfland
Bait and Tackle on Plum Island. “The bluefish from shore guys are doing
well at the end of the jetties on the first of the incoming tide and
then the fish are moving out to about 60 to 80 feet of water. A lot of
striper action but not a lot of really big fish. Our flounder fishermen
are complaining about the amount of skates that they are catching but
some boats are doing well. And the dogfish are giving our commercial
striper fishermen fits. They are really on the prowl this year,” Kay ended.
