Fishing Report: Fishing the Chesapeake Bay and surrounding tributaries.
Today, we welcomed Dr. Bachman and friends from the TI Mens Club for a total of 6 anglers. T.J. Reiber served as 1st Mate today (in group picture below).
We chummed with light spinning tackle at “The Gooses”. We rigged up with standard chumming rigs and used cut Bunker and Razor Clams for hook bait. We caught 12 corpulent Striped Bass (“Rockfish”) ranging from 18” - 22” plus our boat
fish (our limit) at this location. We also released quite a few undersized Rockfish.
We made a drift at Holland Point for bottom fishing and caught a nice mess of White Perch and a couple of Jumbo Norfolk “Slab” Spot on the way back.
