Fishing Report: I JUST GOT BACK FROM FISHING AT GARDEN CITY PIER IN SOUTH CAROLINA. FISHING TODAY WAS A LITTLE SLOW FEW SPOTS ARE RUNNING AND BLUEFISH AND PAMPANO. WHITEING ARE BEING CAUGHT ALSO. I CAUGHT 7 NICE SIZE BLUEFISH USEING A BOTTOM RIG BAITED WITH SHRIMP ALSO CAUGHT 3 PAMPANO ON A BOTTOM RIG BAITED WITH SHRIMP BUT NOT MUCH SIZE TO THE PAMPANO. SPOTS WERE RUNNING GOOD AROUND 10 A.M. TILL 3 P.M. THEN HIGH TIDE CAME AND IT BECAME VERY SLOW FOR SPOT FISHING MOSTLY BLUEFISH CAUGHT AROUND THAT TIME WHEN HIGH TIDE COMES. WATER WAS VERY CALM AND CLEAR. WAS ABOUT 80 DEGREES TODAY VERY CALM WINDS IF ANY. SPANINSH MACKEREL WERE SLOW ONLY SEEN 2 CAUGHT. NO FLOUNDER CAUGHT FROM WHAT I HEARD. WHITEING ARE BEING CAUGHT BUT VERY SLOW THEY ARE BITEING ON SHRIMP AND USING BOTTOM RIGS. |
