Fishing Report: Went out on Friday, October 9, 2009 for a blue water trip (80 miles out) for tuna, wahoo, and dolphin. We started to troll at about 25 miles out and caught kingfish. After my disgust, we went out an additional 25 miles and caught an additional kingfish. Now, I have fished the eastern seaboard and know that at this time of the year, 80 miles out probalby would have produced some nice fish. Considering the trip cost $1,500, I think we got taken. Just to keep you fellow anlgers abreast of the situation. |
