Virginia Beach Striper Fishing
We are now fishing out of VA Beach and Long Creek through the middle of April 2006. Today, we had a put together trip (also known as a walk on trip) for 11 anglers. We actually had a few anglers who were scheduled to go that did not show up. Well, you guys really blew it! It was a beautiful day out there and the fish were really biting! T.J. Reiber served as 1st Mate today.
We targeted Fall Trophy Striped Bass (“Rockfish”) by trolling at False Cape, VA. We caught an incredible 26 keeper corpulent HAWGS from 31” up to 43 ½” (our limit including our 4 boat fish). We also released 4 undersized Rockfish. Oh man, what a day!
